Tempo--I have no idea, I just saw one when looking for mushroom pics and when I saw how closely they resembled cephalopods, I knew I had to dedicate an entire post to them.
Cal--I figured you'd want to know about yet another way the hated octos can hide in plain sight.

What on earth are they? I've never seen anything like them...I'm guessing you didnt do a taste test..LOL
At least I know not to go anywhere near them unlike some mushroom lover I know.
